 The NBJC celebrated its 30th anniversary with a dinner. All who attended had a great night.  Neil and Robyn Hayes were awarded life membership of the club.  John Fairhall was presented a plaque celebrating the clubs achievements.

The 7th NBJC was held yesterday with some good results for the club. It was good to see our players perform well, whether a medalist or not.

Junior Boys and Girls - Andrew Eichner (1st), Tristan Eldridge (1st), Nathan Faihall and Aimee Watkins.

Girls - Kiarnah Hayes (1st), Lauren Weir (2nd) Klara Johansson (3rd) and Maddy Prescott.

Boys - Tristan Eldridge (2nd), Jayden Kennedy (2nd), Bradley Mann (3rd), Michael Eichner, Christopher Watkins, Bailey Goymer-Peak, Lucas Failhall and Alex Prescott.

Cadet Men - James Gilbert (2nd).

Well done.

The annual TVJC Sports Awards were presented last night.  Mahala Hill received a Sports Scholarship.  Jack Riley received a nomination for the Junior Sports Star of the year.

Congratulations to both Mahala and Jack.

The ACT International Open had 12 players represent Ni Bonchi. While not everyone reached the finals, each  represented the club to the best of their ability.

Welcome to the new year and another year of training.  2011 marks the club's 30th anniversary.

Training commences on the 18th and 20th Jan and we look forward to seeing you again.  Congratulations to those who received an emd-of-year award. Unfortunately I (Neil) was not able to attend.

The first tournament for the year is the ACT International Open (click for info) followed by our Ni Bonchi Junior Challenge (click for info). For those who are not aware, the JFA National Championships will be held in Perth this year.  Check out the calander to see whats happenning in Judo this year.
